Privacy policy.

Last updated: December 19, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how Shared Eye Inc. (“Shared Eye,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our mobile applications and related services — including Push Up Counter - Tracker and any future apps we may release (collectively, the “Apps”).

By using our Apps, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Apps immediately.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications published by Shared Eye Inc., including Push Up Counter - Tracker.

Some Apps may include additional notices or privacy disclosures that supplement this Policy.

Information We Collect

Push Up Counter - Tracker does not collect personally identifiable information, photos, videos, or audio recordings.

Depending on which App you use, certain device features may be accessed to provide core functionality:

  • Camera / Motion Sensors: Used only for on-device repetition detection. No images or motion data are stored or transmitted.

  • App Analytics (optional): Anonymous usage statistics (e.g., through Apple App Store Connect) to improve app reliability and performance.

  • Social Features (Friends): If you choose to use social features such as Friends, leaderboards, or challenges, the app may process limited, non-personal identifiers (such as an in-app ID or invite link) to connect you with other users.

Shared activity data (for example, workout totals or rankings) is visible only to the friends you choose to connect with. We do not collect real names, email addresses, or contact lists through these features.

We do not require user accounts.

To enable optional social features such as Friends and leaderboards, we store limited, non-personal identifiers (such as a pseudonymous user ID and friend relationship data) on secure servers. This data is used only to connect users within the app and does not include names, email addresses, photos, or contact information.

TrueDepth and Camera Data

Some Shared Eye apps, including Push Up Counter – Tracker, use your device’s front-facing camera and, where available, the TrueDepth API to detect motion and count repetitions.

  • TrueDepth data is processed locally on your device in real time.

  • The app uses facial position information only to detect motion distance for counting push-ups.

  • No facial images, depth maps, or sensor data are stored, transmitted, or shared.

  • The app does not use this data for identification, authentication, or user profiling.

  • Once each frame is processed, the motion data is immediately discarded.

Shared Eye Inc. does not have access to this data, and it is never sent off the device.

How We Use Information

Any information processed by our Apps is used solely to:

  • Count repetitions or measure performance on your device;

  • Save workout summaries locally or within Apple Health (if enabled);

  • Improve app functionality, reliability, and user experience.

  • Enable optional social features, including friends, leaderboards, and challenges.

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.

Third-Party Services

Some Shared Eye Apps may integrate with third-party software or APIs such as:

  • Apple HealthKit

  • StoreKit (in-app purchases)

  • App Analytics SDKs (anonymous usage metrics)

Each third party manages its own privacy policy and data practices. Links to those policies are provided in-app when relevant.

Some social features may use secure link services to enable friend invitations. These links do not include personal information and are used solely to connect users within the app.

Cookies and Device Identifiers

Our Apps do not use cookies. If you visit our website (sharedeye.com) or app-related landing pages, cookies or analytics tools may be used to understand site performance and improve our services. These tools do not collect personal information and can be disabled through your browser settings.

Data Storage and Retention

All workout data, app preferences, and local settings are stored only on your device.

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

We do not retain, back up, or access any personal or fitness data.

Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it.

Security

We follow Apple’s platform security best practices and use secure operating system frameworks to protect all data processed by our Apps.

However, no security system is completely impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.

Legal Compliance and Disclosure

Shared Eye Inc. complies with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable laws.

We may disclose limited information if required by law, court order, or government request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest version will always be available at sharedeye.com/privacy-policy.

Your continued use of our Apps after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
